#inktober day 12: remote 🌲 Moose hunting dogs often end up far away from their owners. These days they wear trackers (the little antenna) so people can follow where they are.
In Sweden, moose are usually hunted with Swedish Elkhounds.

#inktober day 10: nomadic 🐺 We're diverging a little from the dog theme here but since, at their core, dogs are just domesticated wolves I figure it's ok.
Wolves have vast territories and will travel incredible distances in search of prey, shelter, and mates. They stay more in one place during the spring and summer when the cubs are young, and turn to a more nomadic lifestyle in autumn and winter.

#inktober day 9: sun ☀️ I used to have a whippet who loved sleeping in the sun (and just sleeping, period). Whippets have very short thin fur and will usually try to find the warmest spot in the house.

#inktober day 7: passport 🛂 Made my dog Runa's passport (if she had one). Can you tell I can't write neatly to save my life? And that I sort of gave up even trying to write properly halfway through? Drawing and writing are *completely* different skills...

Dogtober day 3 - whippet. These are amazing dogs. Sweet and friendly, chill, super cuddly, and it's so exciting to watch them run!
My first dog was a whippet named Zaphod. He was my sidekick for 12 years and I still miss him a lot. 10 out of 10, a lovely breed 💖
