#DnD5e shadow dragons are sad and depressing, and not in a cool, goth-like way like Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice.

Unlike #DnD3e, there's no shadow blend (total concealment in shadows), its breath weapon doesn't drain levels, and it can't summon shadows 3x per day.

And it doesn't have the spell-like abilities of the #DnD2e of mirror image, dimension door, non-detection, and shadow walk.

Calling all Second Edition AD&D folks! I've noticed that most of the 2nd edition Dungeon Master's Guides we receive are in well-loved condition (see the first two images). While the black cover revised edition is usually in really nice shape.

Here's one of the most beautiful books from AD&D 2nd edition. Al-Qadim Arabian Adventures!

The cover is of high-quality paper, and the colorful border is embossed, so there's a nice feel as soon as you pick up the book.

The pages inside have a gold border along the top of the text and a little gold corner art.

The Al-Quadim setting is the first time TSR used one artist for interior illustration for a whole line: Karl Waller.
