Z.ai's vulnerability ledger now tracks 2,436 findings across open-source projects, but 2,383 remain embargoed while the company gates model weights. The disclosure timeline matters: faster release of weights could amplify attack surface before patches land. OpenAI exercised warrants for a 4.2% Cerebras stake in July for roughly $100, then previewed Ultrafast—a service tier running entirely on Cerebras hardware—two days later. Every speed benchmark in the launch came from Cerebras itself. The equity stake and computing contract raise questions about independence in performance claims. https://www.implicator.ai/openai-paid-100-for-a-4-2-cerebras-stake-weeks-before-ultrafast-launch/ #AI #disclosure #transparency

[Edited, twice, for typos]
[No AI was used in writing this toot — I’d rather not write at all otherwise]The use of #GenAISlop machines to determine whether text was provided by #LLM #TextRegurgitatingMachines is a monster of a cyclical process. Like the integrity of police officers overseen by other police officers in another branch of law enforcement. Lawyer oversighted by a professional lawyer body… and so on. #Credibility and #Transparency are unlikely to prevail in such nepotistic circumstances, corruption is everywhere but a step away.
What are #Authors to do? Build a #TrailOfEvidence and unimpeachable record of #Provenance for every work they wish to publish? How are they to do this? Are there non-AI tools to help? This is a really f*^%#d up world the #TechBros are imposing upon us all with their inane #MarketingHype hitting the mark with many incompetant and gullible executives in charge of the #publishingIndustry. (This is all conjecture on my part based on very little but general observations of what LLM GenAI is doing — or not doing — in every field of endeavour).
“Pangram is not infallible. I’ve used it to run some of my newsletters through it, and they came back as 80% AI when I wrote every word myself. This is one of many reasons why I disagree with Substack’s decision to partner with Pangram. Another reason is that once a tool like Pangram is available to the masses, false accusations start flying around, and careers can be ruined. Whether you admit it or not, there is A LOT of jealousy in the publishing world, so it wouldn’t surprise me if someone who disliked author X decided to use Pangram on their work and made the results public. This is not the publishing world I want to live in.” (Read more: AI Accusations and Book Publishing - Kathleen Schmidt, Aug 01, 2026). A blog post on Substack, sry. https://kathleenschmidt.substack.com )
#Writing #WritingCommunity #Publishing #SlefPublishing #AuthorshipProvenance #Author #Writer #Disclosure #ProofOfAuthorship
PS. I wonder how many *airport* books by some of the most successful authors in the *genre* would pass muster if subjected to #Pangram or similar GenAI tool generated analysis? Not many I’d wager. Further, what’s the bet Pangram is itself code produced by a GenAISlop machine. This AI ponzie scheme is just getting wilder and wilder by the day… BOOOMMM !

OpenAI’s Rogue AI Agent Didn’t Stop At Hacking Hugging Face
Image: The Verge The AI agent that escaped from OpenAI and hacked developer platform Hugging Face attacked other companies as well, OpenAI revealed on Tuesday. The update substantially widens the scope of an already concerning incident, which has alarmed industry insiders and fueled growing calls for stronger oversight on frontier AI systems. In an update to a blog post detailing its ongoing investigation into the incident, OpenAI said the wayward AI agent attacked several […] -

OpenAI’s Models Broke Containment and Cyberattacked Hugging Face What Enterprises Need To Know
VentureBeat made with OpenAI ChatGPT-Images-2.0 Yesterday afternoon, OpenAI and Hugging Face published a joint disclosure outlining a cybersecurity event that redefines the threat landscape for enterprise technology. #uap #disclosure #aliens -
The main big bad in #spielberg "Disclosure" movie, a guy heading a powerful, secret agency hiding the truth bears uncanny resemblance to Glenn Gaffney, the former CIA Director of Science and Technology and former Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Collection.
Gaffney has repeatedly been named by disclosure figures as a possible gatekeeper in the alleged legacy program. He has also been alleged to have advised #AARO, the very organisation tasked with investigating the claims surrounding that program.
To be clear, he was advising the agency investigating claims against him.
AARO for those not read in on the #phenomenon is the US agency charged with "investigating" #UAP
A task so obviously false there is no debate that their methods and reporting are continuation of multiple previous denial programs. The movie is average as a movie but is replate with deep #ufo known facts.

#disclosure movie review
When #Spielberg released the superbly popular "Close Encounters of the third kind" in 1977 he has brough #UFO into mass public consciousness #Zeitgeist
You can watch "Disclosure" as an average chase movie. But in reality, Disclosure is actually designed as "Close Encounters of the third kind 2". Like many famous artistst/writers before him he speaks directly to the human psyche.
There is presently an actual #Disclosure going on right now (its superbly unfortunate that it is happening under the most corrosive president).
Legitimate documents and videos demostrating #NHI - Non human technology and presence on earth are being constantly released (we are in tranche 3 now).
The movie is 100% accurate about the entirety of " #Aliens are here" with a very thin veneer of hollywood coating. Anyone who is read in on the subject of #UAP will see the call outs immediately, #Experiencers , 79 years, Special Programs, the remote viewing, the masking memories (animals), a secretive private organisation keeping and monetising the #alien tech and keeping the knowledge away from the people because "They can not handle it".
Many of the videos in the "leaks" in the movie are actual released, legitimate UFO videos
Folks have a couple of set reponse modes when facts about the Others are presented.
1) Ridicule - 79 years of "hahaha little green men" still works superbly
2) Inexplicable fear, you can see many folks get super angry at the mere mention of credible evidence. Almost as if programmed
3) Inability to converse on the topic at all.
This movie is important, not as an entertaining movie (though it is that), but because it moves the reality of aliens interacting with humans closer into common understanding.
The Others are here, and time (allegedly) is running out for us for a big reveal. This is why the disclosure is here (both the movie and the event).
If you are not plugged in, when "The event" comes, there will be billions of people experiencing #Ontologicalshock
This movie is a lubricant for the dildo of consequence of ignorance/secrecy.

And here’s another bit from Michael Crichton’s ‘Disclosure’ (which he says is based on a true story), 1st published in 1994, but still feels contemporary in lots of areas; this is part of a longer speech:
“Third, I think that we have an obligation to— a social obligation, if you will— to keep high-paying skilled jobs in the U.S. Other countries don’t export good jobs. Why should we? Each of our offshore manufacturing decisions has been made for a specific reason, and, personally, I hope we start to move them back here. Because there are many hidden costs in offshore fabrication. … we need manufacturing. If there’s anything that the last twenty years has shown us, it’s that design and manufacturing are all one process. You start splitting off the design engineers from the manufacturing guys and you’ll end up with bad design. You’ll end up with General Motors.”#reading #MichaelCrichton #Disclosure #quotes #manufacturing #design #SocialObligation #offshoring #reconnectingConsequencesToCauses

Michael Crichton’s ‘Disclosure’ (which he says is based on a true story), 1st published in 1994, but still feels contemporary in lots of areas. Enjoyed the complicated plot & the product-based manufacturing problem solving. And then there was this:
“As for Meredith, her behaviour didn’t surprise him at all. For years, Sanders had fought the B-school mentality that she exemplified. After watching these graduates come and go, Sanders had finally concluded that there was a fundamental flaw in their education. They had been trained to believe that they were equipped to manage anything. But there was no such thing as general managerial skills and tools. In the end, there were only specific problems, involving specific industries and specific workers. To apply general tools to specific problems was to fail. You needed to know the market, you needed to know the customers, you needed to know the limits of manufacturing and the limits of your own creative people. None of that was obvious.”#reading #MichaelCrichton #problemSolving #Disclosure #BSchoolMentality #education #fundamentalFlaw #reconnectingConsequencesToCauses

"Pastors invited to speak to unidentified 'Government officials' - Say: You have to prepare your people for #alien #disclosure"
For folks not following, there have been multiple US Senate hearings into so called "Special programs".
And a number of whistle blowers, intelligence officers, Naval admirals, Combat pilots.Compartmentalised research into 'crashed' #UAP for the last 3-4 years with the secrecy (the programs) of Manhattan Project.
Rumour has it that it's not because they want to disclose the secrets, but a "mystery deadline" is approaching in 2027.
My assessment of the tweet: Unverified.
But keep your ears to the ground.
#rumours #NHI #OntologicalShock -
IMHO Spielberg's "Disclosure" movie is a deliberate effort to torpedo #disclosure
Because from now on, anyone new to the #UAP / #NHI who googles "Disclosure" gets a goddamned stupid movie.
On a lesser scale this was perpetuated with "TED" a movie about a stupid talking plushie when TED talks became mainstream.

Had a very interesting vuln disclosure experience today. I found a pre-auth RCE in F5-BIGIP admin panels (yes...the same one that's had RCE issues for years - there's more) with my coworker Thomas Hendrickson.
We went to report to F5 at the beginning of the month and had some back and forth with them over the disclosure timeline. We're not in a rush, we figured it would take a month or two to disclose, but they wanted to publish it in February 2024. That's a long time to wait for a pre-auth RCE bug, so we asked for it to be sooner, but with 48 hours notice so we could coordinate with our customers appropriately. They said they were fine with that.
Then last night at 8PM ET, we get an email that they're dropping the advisory + hotfix in 16 hours. We asked why and were told "we believe this vulnerability is now known outside of F5 and Praetorian thus forcing our hands at an immediate disclosure". The advisory was published a few hours ago - https://my.f5.com/manage/s/article/K000137353. No patch, but there's a hotfix you can run on some versions of F5s. A few versions have been marked as "will not fix", so this is a permanent way to pop them.
Simultaneously, a blog post that we referenced heavily for AJP Request Smuggling disappeared off the internet (the author locked every post they'd made since 2016). The posts were live 10 days or so ago.
It's likely all a huge coincidence - but regardless, if you want to read about a bug-chain to pop internet exposed F5 Management Panels or learn about AJP Request Smuggling, take a look over at https://www.praetorian.com/blog/refresh-compromising-f5-big-ip-with-request-smuggling-cve-2023-46747/.
Once the patch has had a little bit of time to be applied, we'll drop the rest of the technical information about the bug.
If anyone here is aware of this being exploited in the wild, I'd love to hear about it. Tagging a few folks who are a bit more in the know (apologies if this is spammy, but I'm curious).
On the IoC side it's a bit tricky because the bug relies on abusing a bug in Apache, so I have no idea what it actually looks like in the logs. The raw request will have "Transfer-Encoding: <a valid value>, chunked" as one of the headers. For example "Transfer-Encoding: gzip, chunked" or "Transfer-Encoding: chunked, chunked".
I know it's no #citrixbleed, but this is a pretty bad bug if you're one of the thousands of orgs that still has an F5 config panel on the internet.
