Hi fellow humans, I am Laura (zie/zir if possible, otherwise she/her), a senior staff scientist at #LSFOctopus advanced #LightMicroscopy and #CLEM facility at #HarwellCampus in the #UK, right next to #DiamondLightSource.
My science interest center around #EGFRSignalling and #RTKSignalling and deregulation in #CancerStudies in general. My tools of the trade are #singleparticletracking #singlemoleculelocalisation #CLEM #FIBSEM #VolumeEM and #CryoMicroscopy

I joined at the beginning of the bandwagon and didn't post an #introduction so...
I am a postdoc at the #RosalindFranklinInsititute and #DiamondLightSource developing methods for #CryoET and #3DED. I am the developer of #Parakeet for simulating #CryoEM images and one of the original developers of #DIALS for processing your diffraction data.
Outside work, I play guitar and bass, listen to very heavy music, and dance salsa. Además entiendo un poco español y me gusta hablar con todos!

Had an excellent tour of #DiamondLightSource #synchrotron this morning, with my daughter. We got to see several of the beamlines, and were allowed to see the storage ring (as it was shut down) #science #physics
