@fitheach That’s very sad. Such good quality china. It has graced our table since the 1980s, our first set bought in London at John Lewis. It’s been an incredible good value, never chipping or discolouring. We will hopefully continue using it every day for another 40 years 😊

Feeling stupid, while still trying to help.
I fell for a smallish-scale online UK scam last week. That's £50 I won't see again.
I''ve reported it to my bank (no action), Report Fraud (no further action), and the National Cyber Security Centre (no feedback).
Anyhow, pl be aware that Report Fraud, the police portal for E&W and NI, doesn't appreciate slow typing of up to 5,000 words opentext.

Bargains! It's last knockings at Denby pottery (UK online outlet) since the firm went bust. We've just topped up our own set at 80% discount.
It's in Derbyshire, not the Potteries which all ended earlier. (Full disclosure. One grandad of mine was a scolloper at Aynsley. And, apparently, that's still valid in C21st Scrabble.)
