Next time you feel alone, remember there's tiny little arachnids (spiders) that lives in the pores on your face called a "demodex mite". They eat the oil and dead skin flakes on our face.

Doing a google search for it, seems we each have thousands to millions living on our face. We were born with none, but they spread through skin-to-skin contact with people.

There are 2 types: demodex folliculorum which lives in our hair follicles, especially around our eyes. And the other kind is demodex brevis which live in the pores of our sebaceous oil glands.

Apparently they crawl out of our pores at night to mate.
