To add #insult to #injury, this old #Perl guy had to dig into some #PHP in order to figure out where his stupid #shellscript went wrong.

On the other hand, I did gather enough #research to propose a #solution to #decommission a piece of #commercial software in favor of a mix of #cloud services and #selfhosted #opensource.

Microsoft is closing down Skype, proprietary videoconferencing service, which originated from Estonia more than two decades ago.

As someone who used Skype before Microsoft's acquisition, I consider this an end of an era :ablobcatpopcorn:

Microsoft is closing Skype in favor of Microsoft Teams. Interestingly, both Skype and Mixer (game streaming service) served well for Microsoft to acquire decent real-time video encoders and other moving parts to build Microsoft Teams :blobcatcamera:

#Plugins hast thou in surpassing abundance, and ridiculous art their expressions in #XML.
