Necron Deathmark.
I wanted to represent them stepping through from the hidden dimension.
For the portal I used some clear plastic, cut into a wibbly shape, so that it is visible but not (like a heat haze).I also painted half of the mini' dark and half "in light", again, to represent stepping from the hidden dimension. The cut-off matches the position of the "portal".
