So in #PillarsOfEternity 1 my MC was a pure chanter because I remembered bards in #DAOC and thought it was a neat change from my usual pattern.
In practice, it was fun and certainly support-heavy, but I found myself relying more on the Cipher companion.
So in #Deadfire I multiclassed my MC into chanter/cipher and now a good ways into the game I am finding the majority of my playstyle is relying on Cipher abilities.

I had thought that Yatzli's exclamations about "Ondra's titties" in #Avowed were just her being irreverent in her way, but now that I get to see what Ondra looks like in #Deadfire I see she was actually being truthful. Ondra's a humanoid angler fish with 4-6 big ole saggy tits.

So we've started out in #PillarsOfEternity #Deadfire after finishing the first game last night. Definitely some changes to get used to, but now I'm traipsing about on the usual shipwreck beach, getting used to things. Always good to see a cave behind a waterfall when #gaming

Got the #deadfire game underway and have completed the tutorial island. The Valians are as greedy as remembered and will have to go bankrupt. Decided that the brought over PC druid got a bit changed and is now a wizard. Aloth the complainer will soon get the boot. Or plank. Eder (fighter+rogue) will tag along so far, Xoti (priest) gets a permanent spot and Serafen the hairy I will try as a barb+cipher.

My original goal was to get summaries for both #PillarsOfEternity and #Deadfire up before the release of #Avowed, but I think given how long it takes to make the videos I will have to settle for having the Pillars series done before Avowed releases and Deadfire shortly thereafter.
