CF Signals: Dark Matter Project – Velocity Shift [Black Hole Transmissions]

London-based producer Shane dB, also operating as Dark Matter Project, steps up the game with the release of Hollow Signal on his Black Hole Transmissions label. This new body of work arrives during a period of high creative momentum, acting as the direct follow-up to Space Time Emotion, which was released earlier in February 2026.

The EP kicks off with «Velocity Shift», a heavy-hitting techno track built to drive immediate energy onto the dancefloor. Its lead riff was crafted by chopping an atmospheric sample to enhance its drive, paired with a high-register synth that glides upward in pitch, introduced in brief fragments before unleashing the full sequence.
