Unuasble #scraps from our #meal get #composted. I buy in date, test freshness. & use #food even if it's past #sell-by as long as it's not off. It's tricky as #weekly #shopping means #grocery #store #produce & #freshfood can be uneatable after a few days e.g. apples going bad (I cook them in that case). If #Lidl isn't going to #date #milk or #yogurt I'll need to smell it before I buy. How else will I know it's fresh?

Getting an unexpected call from a local farmer friend offering me free, aged, black gold, #composted #soil is a thousand times richer than getting useless diamond jewelry. Farmer/gardening folks understand me well on this front!
