i swim around 2:47 pm EST, 3:13 pm EST, and 4:04 EST, approximately.

i'm very hype and so is my team. we are going for gold 🥇. and if not, as the Special Olympics athlete pledge says, we will "be brave in the attempt!"

went to my first practice with the local Palmetto Masters swim team.
i was late so just did the warm up portion. it took me about 45 minutes. with stopping to get feedback from the coach and introducing myself to the other swimmers.
more rigorous than #specialOlympics practice but fun!
there is a cost associated with it after my free trial runs out. but i'll cross that bridge when i get to it. i'll try to get there earlier tomorrow to ask about pool membership fees.

This week, yet another #sport has felt it necessary to #bar #transgender #women from #competing against others of their #gender, joining #competitiveswimming, #powerlifting, #wrestling, #boxing, #rugby and #running.
The sport is #chess. Frankly, I don’t even understand why there is a separate #category at all. Unless, of course, #chess itself is #sexist
