After several years of delays for #covid and caring responsibilities, my #ChurchillTravelFellowship is unexpectedly back on. Coming to #USA in October to visit various #Timebank schemes on #EastCoast and #NewEngland and maybe #Chicago particularly interested in how they help in #rural areas with #CommunityResilience and keeping older people active in communities. Sadly with #ClimateChange and #ExtremeWeather events think #Timebanks may prove remarkably useful for that sort of thing. Would love to connect with people doing things like #RepairCafe #foodwaste #CommunityComposting or other #SharingEconomy type things while I'm out there.
