    On the first Monday of Great Lent, called "Clean Monday" in Greece, it's a tradition to fly kites. The weather last Monday was perfect, so @slomo and I took a walk.

    Friends, is the olive oil restriction observed *in practice* in all Greek Orthodox communities? Some say the prohibition is Attic and only applies to oil stored in sheep's skin.
