Some video of the hive entrances. Sunny and 63F/17C. That West hive is less active but those bees have a different schedule than the other two. Seems like a lot less Carniolan types in that hive.

The bees today. Very busy, pollen coming in, and the West hive having a traffic jam caused by a bunch of drones on the landing board.

I haven't seen any activity at the bait hive and the bees at the other empty hives seem to be off target and taking a break.

Bees bringing in the pollen on Saturday morning. I estimate between 100-120 bees per minute with pollen. That could be over 1.5 grams of pollen per minute or 500 grams in 6 hours. More than a pound of pollen and they work hours than that. That's based on them only carrying 15mg of pollen but I read they can carry 30mg.

Picked up there lovely embroidered velvet bee cushions today. Got them from Cancer Research, who seem to have a nationwide stock of them. They are so lovingly detailed, with the piping in the blue one being gold, and the gold one being blue. Bring on cheerful summer vibes!
