So the bridge that came with the #bass kit was not high enough. Shim as I might it still wouldn't clear the pickup beyond the 13th fret without getting wobbly. The fault is most likely in my novice kit building. But I found something tall enough and resilient enough...and that has a personal connection. Works a charm...no more buzzes and intonation is spot on.

The first few notes on my #cigarboxguitar ...rather #cigarboxbass I am almost finished building. It's a dark beast ..the thick gauge string put a hurt on my fingers. Now to button it up and test it amped. Also...fix the intonation.
