  5. There has already been massive profiteering from #COVID19 minimizers who dispensed snake oil for the acute phase (one ivermectin case just hit the courts). If one wants to prevent harm/profiteering in #LongCOVID, then one should not downplay its existence as a #nosological entity. Using the term along with the formal #PASC or even #ChronicCovid may be the price to pay for the long phase of the COVID19 disease to be viewed as a disease entity, with features distinct from the acute phase.
