Has anyone in the #carmodding scene ever properly modified a turbo with a beefy (1kw+ at least) motor attached to it, to both siphon power away when braking, as well as pre-spin the turbo when hitting the throttle?
An MGU-H in an F1 car is basically exactly this, it requires a pretty serious electrical setup, but when done well it gives you a lot of extra lag-free boost and power gain, but I don't think I've ever seen it done on a street car of any kind, at most an e-turbo which is not the same
