On the 25th of August 2024 I send the first email to Jet's Pizza ([email protected]) about an open #s3 #bucket. Then, it contained approx 6 mio recordings (mp3) of people ordering #pizza with a voice bot via #telephone.
In February this year, already over 10 mio recordings were online. Still my emails where ignored.
Yesterday the bucket was fixed: indexing was disabled without auth, as well as file access without auth was disabled.
Big congrats (maybe free pizza?) to the staff who fixed it! After almost two years, finaly, they closed the bucket! -

Viele Funktionen nutzte ich in der Nextcloud ja nicht. Deshalb habe ich mich ja für andere Wege entschieden. Cryptomator und Joplin mit einem S3 Speicher, Kalender und Kontakte nutze ich mit Mailcow.
Jetzt bekam ich vor kurzem auf der Arbeit eine Datei zugeschickt. Zu groß für das Postfach, also per Link um diese bei swissfiles in den nächsten 30 Tagen herunterzuladen. Die eine oder andere Datei hatte ich auch hin und wieder per Nextcloud geteilt. Dies fällt ja aber nun auch weg. Also musste eine Lösung her: Pingvin.
Abgesichert mit Authelia als OIDC und die Registrierung deaktiviert, weil ich ja nicht will, das Gott und die Welt unbekannte Dateien über meinen Server verbreitet. Das kann ja mal schnell nach hinten losgehen. Fehlte nur noch ein Virenscanner, falls ich mal einen Link erstelle, über den andere User auch Dateien für mich hochladen können.
Für mich immer noch sinnvoller als eine Nextcloud zu betreiben und zu warten.

but I try to use a #bucket all the time to be able to directly get it out to soil sooner and leave #Compost #Toilet / Small #Shed for guests.
(actually maybe more because I don't have to walk there and it's a portable #potty!)

Some shots of student work, Liesl Schubel, has a show coming up at OSU and has been working on a series of buckets, co showing with an artist making work about water.
Liesl and some of the other students wanted to see some circle demos and they quickly developed a knack for making them. The orange is from the old green pumped neon- a nice orange with and Ar+Hg handle.
Another student, Corinne stayed more free form with this 3D #neon and mercury scribbly doodle.

Простая машина от Hack The Box, на которой работает Camaleon CMS 2.9.0 под управлением nginx. В системе включена функция самостоятельной регистрации, а уязвимость, позволяющая повысить привилегии после аутентификации (CVE-2025-2304), дает возможность любому зарегистрированному пользователю получить права администратора CMS всего за один запрос. В настройках хранилища медиафайлов в панели администратора можно обнаружить учетные данные для AWS S3. Перебор (перечисление) бакетов S3 позволяет найти внутренний бакет, содержащий закрытый SSH-ключ, защищенный парольной фразой, которую можно подобрать. В комментарии к ключу указано имя пользователя (trivia), что открывает доступ по SSH и позволяет получить пользовательский флаг. Повышение привилегий осуществляется за счет использования правила sudo, не требующего пароля, для утилиты /usr/bin/facter : флаг --custom-dir позволяет загружать произвольные скрипты Ruby с правами root, обеспечивая простой путь к получению SUID-оболочки bash и root-флага.

I needed some distraction from my primary project, so I decided to stand up an engine for a game I've been ideating for a year or two using my toolkit Forest [1]
it's not much yet, but we're happily running around inside a playable area defined by arbitrary polygons and chains of animations/sequences are playing back properly/reacting to input
I've only spent a few nights on it so it's not much, but there's a bunch of invisible work here too, like loading directly from Aseprite files for rapid art iteration, a backbone system for scheduling and syncing sounds, sprite animations and tweens, and the beginnings of a level editor to actually put the game together
