Wasn't planned but to my surprise I was asked to conduct a familiarisation flight on the BR23 915 IFR. I guess it's real name is even longer. And so are the checklists which make every A320 look pale...
Holy moly.
Bottom line it is nothing but a microlight.

Da es heute sehr schwüle 32⁰ geben wird und im Büro die Klimaanlage nicht arbeitet, bin ich mit kurzer Hose und T-Shirt ins Büro gefahren. Mir egal, was die Vorschriften sagen und was die Kolleginnen und Kollegen denken.
Ich habe heute Nachmittag noch meine Einweisung auf der #BR23. Dafür will ich fit bleiben. Da sie einen Turbomotor hat wird sie gut steigen. Der Lehrer und ich haben beschlossen die Airwork auf ca. 7000ft Höhe zu machen. Da hat es dann ca. 18⁰. 😜 -
Es häufen sich heute Tröts, die mich triggern.
Bevor ich jetzt hier anfange Accounts die ich sonst gerne lese zu entfolgen und blocke ziehe ich mich erstmal zurück, mache mir Frühstück und arbeite an meinem Theorietest für die #BR23 weiter. Donnerstag dann erster Flug auf dem Muster. -
Ich hatte den vereinsinternen Theorie Test für die #BR23 vor längerer Zeit schon mal angefangen auszufüllen.
Leider wurde der mit Anschaffung der zweiten BR23 komplett geändert. Nun muss ich nochmal anfangen. 🙄 -
Second try to try out our new BR23. Failed again. This time the battery died. No, it not just ran empty. It literally died and almost set the plane on fire. Thanks to five screws with different heads it took us several minutes to remove the hot, fuming and steaming battery to secure the plane.
At least, this time I made till fireing up the avionics. Let's see if I'll get airborne in a third try. God damn it.....
