Wasn't planned but to my surprise I was asked to conduct a familiarisation flight on the BR23 915 IFR. I guess it's real name is even longer. And so are the checklists which make every A320 look pale...

Roll rate, stability and the relation of speed and lift are interesting 🤩Our BZF Theory Class Session afterwards was also good fun. Just a few students this time but they seemed happy, I can tell.

This is the 2nd time it happened. Got a Diamond upgrade ahead of time for the O'Hare Hilton after booking a runway view. I appreciate the suite upgrade but I really want that runway view, had to call for the "downgrade". Too much of an airplane nerd ;)

Second try to try out our new BR23. Failed again. This time the battery died. No, it not just ran empty. It literally died and almost set the plane on fire. Thanks to five screws with different heads it took us several minutes to remove the hot, fuming and steaming battery to secure the plane.
At least, this time I made till fireing up the avionics. Let's see if I'll get airborne in a third try. God damn it.....
