Wasn't planned but to my surprise I was asked to conduct a familiarisation flight on the BR23 915 IFR. I guess it's real name is even longer. And so are the checklists which make every A320 look pale...
Holy moly.
Bottom line it is nothing but a microlight.

Puh, what a day!
35 jähriges #Firmenjubiläum. Der letzte #Arbeitstag meines Lebens ist festgelegt. Es ist der 5.12.
Am Nachmittag dann fliegen gegangen. Einweisung auf der 2. #Bristell. Das hieß rüber nach Magdeburg und dort 10 #Platzrunden geschrubbt bis es rund lief. Dann wieder zurück nach Braunschweig. Von dort solo sofort wieder durchgestartet nach Hannover. Shuttleflug für meinen Fluglehrer. Er flog die #SR20 in die Werft. Ich bin 7 Minuten vor dem Ende der bürgerlichen #Dämmerung (1/2) -
Second try to try out our new BR23. Failed again. This time the battery died. No, it not just ran empty. It literally died and almost set the plane on fire. Thanks to five screws with different heads it took us several minutes to remove the hot, fuming and steaming battery to secure the plane.
At least, this time I made till fireing up the avionics. Let's see if I'll get airborne in a third try. God damn it.....
