Finally got a good picture of Bob B, the stray cat that I tried to gentle last year who's now coming around our barn. He let me feed him a few times but then he rolled on his back and then bit me when I moved my hand too close. My wife is still feeding him and he likes watching horse lessoners so I have hope he'll come around

I tried to gentle Bob B last summer but he refused to accept my other cats and escaped the first chance he got. He started showing up at the barn a week ago and we now feed him regularly

Bob B likes to wedge himself in next to the litter box, this is where he was when the other cats came around the other day. Iโve had the door open most of the day lately but so far as I know heโs only come out twice when, late in the day, I came into the room and he burst out of the door either to look at me and then come back in immediately or hide under the couch to return to the room after I removed some clutter in the way.

Weโve had the door open to Room 23 for two days but we still find Bob B hiding behind the speakers or the corner by the cat box. The other two cats came in separately (in one case announcing herself with a low growl-meow) drank from his water bowl and looked at him briefly before walking out. I used to be afraid that he would bolt for the outdoors and escape but itโs hard to picture him leaving the room

I thought of posting a โcan you see the cat in this picture?โ (you canโt) of Bob B as he hid for a week when we moved him to Room 23, but here is the first shot I got of him, not that good because he is wary and not coming close. We are rehanging the doors on the closet downstairs and will let him into a larger area soon where hopefully heโll get to meet our other cats who have remarkably constrained their curiosity about him
