"Whatcha writing, Amos?" Lars peered over Amos's shoulder.

"Nothing! I'm just doodling. Daggers and poleaxes and a trebuchet. See?" Amos deftly slid an old page of doodles out from the sheet of paper he'd been writing on and passed to Lars.

"Woah, sick! Hey Mac, look what Amos drew!" Lars and Mac pored over the paper.

Furtively, Amos continued his letter.

"Joanie, your apathy #blights my every hope. Just one friendly glance from you would restore my soul to life..."
