Like many others on #mastodon, today is my 1 year aniversary on the #Fediverse (first on @hachyderm and more recently on front-end.social).
Also like many others, I left the #birdsite where I had many more followers (probably most of them bots and trash accounts), but have gained much more traction here than I ever did in 7(?) years over there.

CW: Seeking information about Mastodon features - Birdsite reference
I'm trying to understand and better provide accurate information to people I know who may be contemplating moving from the birdsite to the Fediverse, primarily Mastodon (and microblogging platforms) and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
I'm looking for ways to do some things from the birdsite that I don't seem to see available here on the major platform Mastodon.
1. Twitter Circles - This is a separate list of people who you can designate as being able to see a given post. This is separate from your followers and is usually a small subset of them.
2. Ability to block (as in refuse delivery/drop the post) DMs from accounts you do not follow. You can disable notifications, yes, but this is about rejecting the post entirely.
3. Integrations with Discord bots. This is less a feature of the birdsite, but I'm looking for bots that can interact with Discord channels/servers in ways that some did for the birdsite.
4. Restrict who can "Reply" to a post.
5. Restrict who can "Boost" a post.
(I think these 2 are actually what people are looking for when they discuss concerns about adding quote-posts to Mastodon)
6. *Editing* (as opposed to "Delete - RePost") the visibility of posts after they have been published.
