After a week or so of #twittermigration a few things on #learningmastodon:
💛 I love the culture of content warning and alt text for images. Taking care of strangers & not having to manage everything through blocks/mutes.
🤗 Hashtags and the federated timeline really work for connecting with new people.
⭐️ No algorithm and no promoted content makes engagement more meaningful, searches more relevant, and numbers less important.
☎️ I miss DM groups, but we are finding each other in other apps (#discord), and there’s something about a small instance community. #beigelove
🦐 It is becoming clear that a shrimp did not fry this rice.
