I've just ordered a #begali HST III.

Not sure if my stage of learning #morsecode justifies such a key, but we learned when the kids were young and learning to play various musical instruments that it was a handicap to them to try to learn on cheap substandard ones.

@g7kse @tony I really love the TP-III. It’s very accurate and works fine with a close spacing but in my opinion it’s not made for bad weather. I don’t think there are a lot of SOTA ops with a #Begali Adventure - would love to hear some opinion on that key in hostile weather.

I made a carrying enclosure for my Begali Adventure key. I used the freely available model at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5386468 but added magnets instead of washers on the bottom. It turned out really good in my opinion.

The #Begali #Adventure Dual #MorseKey arrived today and I just had to put everything aside and test it. I also bought the magnetic base and the #kx3 mounting bracket both which proved to be a fantastically inspired choice.

The craftsmanship is amazing and the feel is sublime. It's safe to say I don't think I'll ever part with it. It represents everything I ever wanted in a portable/fixed key.

The service was perfect. TU Pietro and Bruna! Proud to have become one of the elite 🙂
