We had lunch by the river at #Beechworth.
While in the town I remembered #OzHist professional historian, Bill Wilson, who lived in this area and passed away a couple of years ago. He was a wonderful person.

Today we went with our #Albury friends to do some berry picking at a farm near Stanley which is near #Beechworth. It is perfect weather here and we had a lovely wander chatting and picking berries.

Great day to visit #Beechworth, Victoria. Full of buildings -or parts thereof - dating back to the Gold Rush.

#cycling today. We took the rail trail from Beechworth to Myrtleford via Everton Station. Great ride, interesting countryside. Since it follows the old railway line (mostly) , the gradient is fairly even, sometimes built up above the countryside, sometimes through cuttings in the hills. The first leg is all downhill so the reverse journey would be painful. #Beechworth #Myrtleford
