Good morning my Fedi friends. A little chilly first thing today at just a bit over 4c but the feels like was 1c & it certainly did feel like it. Heading to a beautiful sunny #Melbourne day of 17c though which is going to be lovely.
Started packing & cleaning up. Heading into the city this morning to an inexpensive hotel for one more night. We couldn’t get a train ticket up to #Wodonga for my friend the other day, all booked out. So have changed my booking & bought her ticket for tomorrow which means an extra night mooching around the city & that is fine.
We’ve made some plans for the day, but nothing set in stone & we will remain around the city. My friend wants to go to the VIC markets to find some bits & pieces for her grandkids, but apart from that, not much is on the agenda. We will probably eat too much over the day no doubt. Very spoilt for choice down here.

So nice to be home. We’re both unpacked, showered & in our pjs. Some washing has been done. I’m pleasantly weary & the train trip went quickly. I’ve had a lovely few days in Melbourne catching up with friends & my very good old friend of over 50yrs. We’re all grey & crinkly now but somehow it still feels just the same.
Soup & toast for tea & that’ll be us for the day.
