We got approved to foster reptiles that are at the end of their lives. we are so excited!! The rescue will provide a 40br for the beardie we’ll get in a few months but it’s too small. It’s the best they can do, and I can do, so I respect that. However, 75 gallon or above is ideal. If anyone wants to spoil the animals I’m literally loving to death I have a wishlist. I hate bugs so much but I have three #boxturtles and a #beardie who need to eat bugs. I suck it up and feed them by hand because that’s easiest. I fucking hate touching bugs but these little creatures rely on me to keep them healthy. Bff is a vegetarian and cooks her dog chicken every week. This is love and selfishness for the creatures who need us. When I adopted my turtle and beardie from various reptile rescue I made a big-ass promise to them. I am THEIRS. #alttext #Altext

Iggy da Piggy, the #Beardie, for those that don't know, was asleep under my pillows once again last night which is his happy spot. Some have suggested it's because the location smells of Human me, which he must find comforting.
But he likes to curl up into a little ball and drift off whenever I place him on my bed, after 'digging' suitably under the pillows for some minutes in order to create a burrow :)
