Friendly Reminder:
While supplies last, you can get the Baochip-enabled DEF CON 34 badge for $99 in the DEF CON store.
It's our best badge yet - a fully inspectable open source platform you can use as a security token or password manager or something cooler you cook up long after you've played through the conference goodies.
Shop.defcon.org. inventory is limited, so don't delay.
Managed to get an LED blinking with an experimental MicroPython port 🥳 .
Finn the crypthound is very enthusiastic about these #dabao devboards. He's been waiting for an open hardware implementation of BLAKE3 and more foreeeeeever (his words). Thanks @bunnie for the awesome work! Can't wait to tinker with these. Infineon, tremble! 🔏🛠️✨🚀

The Dabao Evaluation Boards have arrived. At some point I'll need to figure out how to use them 😆 .
The shuttle includes various RISC-V SoCs, a "3D" ray caster, a 100Mbps 4-port Ethernet switch and beacon, a dual Core BIO from #Baochip1x, three different #TinyTapeout chips, and much more!
There are also a number of designs that use the new community-created standard cell library, which is both faster and uses less power: a Linux-capable RISC-V SoC with MMU and FABulous FPGA.
Finally, there are new SRAM macros and inductors for validation and characterization, to be used in future runs.

Dabao is a $10 dev board with an open source Baochip-1x RISC-V microcontroller (crowdfunding)
The Dabao Evaluation board is a tiny new single-board computer with a USB 2.0 Type-C port, a 20-pin GPIO header, and a custom RISC-V chip called the Baochip-1x. It’s that last bit that makes this board distinctive.
Designed by hardware hacker bunnie Huang, the Baochip-1x is a “mostly-open” chip designed for use as a security chip and microcontroller. Huang is running a crowdfunding campaign […]
