  1. Good morning 🌅

Day 2 update - Post #dental extractions, with new immediate #dentures.

My breakfast today is #BabyGourmet pouch of hearty veggie & turkey #puree. #ParentsChoice pouch of banana, sweet potato, blueberry & brown rice puree. 3 small bottles of #Activia banana strawberry #yogurt drinks.

My jawline & gums pain woke me up several times last night. I was getting up to replace icepacks throughout the night - no extra swelling this morning 👍. I took one painkiller at 6am & will need another after getting some food into belly. The upper set aren't bothering me much, they just feel strange because I'm not used to having dentures in at all. The lower set is very uncomfy, feels like they're going to fall out & will need most of the adjustment work today.

I'm moving my denturist appointment to afternoon because sleep was rough. I'm sleeping bit more after eating - woke up, very hungry.

  2. Picked up some assorted #BabyFoods & some yogurt drinks. Preparing for my final dental extractions & immediate dentures to be put in, on Wednesday. I am getting some Chinese bean curd & few other Asian soft foods from Fairway Market, tomorrow. I'll have to eat all soft foods for first few weeks, post extractions.

I've never tried any of these items except for the yogurt drinks. I'll see which baby foods that tastes best to me before getting more.

  3. #Nestle #baby foods loaded with unhealthy #sugars—but only in poorer countries
In high-income countries, Nestlé brand #babyfoods have no added sugars them, in line with recommendations from major health organizations around the world and consumer pressure. But in low- and middle-income countries, Nestlé adds #sugar to those same baby products, sometimes at high levels, which could lead children to prefer sugary diets and unhealthy eating habits arstechnica.com/science/2024/0
