I just had an excellent day disc golfing and only managed to take a single photo. Then I had 6 tacos on the way home. It was a good day.

My daily walks have given me a somewhat diminished opinion on the heat of summer; sure it's warm and wonderful out, but so few #plants bloom or thrive in this heat. Nonetheless, there are a few that manage to celebrate the season.
Here's hoping you too find that chance to bloom in times of hardship, friends.

Met a smol fren out on my walk yesterday. Little chum was probably 3mm long, a very dangerous predator.
There's room enough for all the little monsters out there, not just us.

(1/3) Noticed an #ant carrying another insect along a fence rail during my walk today. Recorded the #predation in 3 videos. I'm not sure what the prey was, but my guess is some kind of juvenile cricket or something maybe?

The summer heat finally broke hereabouts; it was nice to enjoy a slow walk in the warm shade, with the occasional sprinkle on my brow.

My walks have given me a whole new appreciation for seasons that aren't summer, and have me looking forward to Fall and Spring.
