@nrmelnick It's most vintage Mac fans' favorite Mac - I'd say by far. I never had one, and I prefer the design of the original Mac, so I keep a Mac Plus (SCSI, ethernet) with the same design as my one early Mac.

I added a new banner to LisaGUI’s homepage. The power button brightens a bit on hover, and fully turns on when the banner is clicked.
In the future I really ought to take a photo with better lighting on the front, but this should be fine for now.

This menu is now fully implemented. You will be able to access it by holding down the "s" key as soon as the system starts up.
The first option, "Install Diskette," is the same temporary volume created the first time you start LisaGUI (or if no other volumes are present).

For the next build, I've made some improvements to the way pixel-aspect-ratio scaling works. 3:4 PAR mode now displays pixels that are exactly 3px by 4px on a 2X high-DPI display.

I moved the iPad LCD panel over to it and added some custom 3D printed CRT bezel gap fillers to fit the curve.

I just noticed today that the case for my #AppleLisaClone seems to be.. painted? It's lighter in color than the first front I purchased. I didn't really pay much attention to it at first but I noticed the HD activity LED light pipe was painted over..!
I mean, it's not a bad paint job as far as these things go. But, why?

It's not exactly retrocomputing but it kind of is. Someone has started a project to make an Apple Lisa-like UI that runs in the browser. It's not just a font/icon thing. The way you did things on Lisa was very different than how we do things nowadays. It was a document-centric not app-centric workflow. It's pretty neat and pretty faithful representation. At first I thought it was infinitemac.org project which runs Mac and NeXT emulators in the browser running the real operating systems.
