Stood outside in the freezing cold yesterday morning trying to work a couple satellites.
I rx'd #ISS clear as crystal, but couldn't seem to get into it with my D72a. Also tried #AO91, but heard nothing at all.
What's a good FM sat these days?

Tried to talk to the satellite AO-91. I’ve waited for my antenna to ship from China (pre-tariffs and en de minimis), learned how to program and operate my radio (no thanks to Anytone), decided between AMSAT’s and Celestrak’s data, and studied the proper procedures for talking to space as a (literal) earth station.
But I got noped by rain.
Still, I heard some partial callsigns, so progress! Now I really can’t wait for the weather to clear.

Another #satellite contact today on AO-91 with @n6utc @wd9ewk K5TA, and K6SFO! (those satellite contacts are SOOO fast..i'm still getting a hang of it. Meant to say "roger roger" to Patrick, sounded like I called him Roger, LOL). Contact with K5TA is my first satellite contact to #NewMexico. #ao91 #hamradio
