    On release, I thought this was something special, but it is one of those rare albums that suck me back in again & again. It is perfection & - imo - the best thing in the last 20 years.

    The Bread Song, Good Will Hunting, The Place He Inserted the Blade, and Basketball Shoes are original & poetic, musically inventive, hook-laden, with real emotional weight.

    Birthday gifts, cocktails, & #NowSpinning #LiveAtBushHall by #BlackCountryNewRoad.

    #AntsFromUpThere, #BCNR 2022, is vying for my best of the century to date: I love it *that* much. This, due to the sad departure of Isaac, is different, but musically ambitious, experimental with enough pop sensibilities to keep the foot tapping.

    The package, for the price, is well done: booklet & 180g vinyl. The pressings bang on - flat, clean, dynamic.
