For any fans of literature, classical novels and the Brontë sisters. A photo of Anne Brontë’s grave in our local churchyard (St. Mary’s) taken a few days ago. She died on May 28th 1849, aged 29 (not 28 as per the stone.) The main headstone faded through weathering (the cemetery’s situated on an exposed cliff top) and a new stone was added a few years ago to mark the site. -

How did Weston manage to rescue Agnes Grey's dog Snap? I have read the book up and down and the dog "is taken away" and then it appears in Weston's company on the beach. Is it explained somewhere in the book? Maybe I was just not reading carefully enough. #AgnesGrey #AnneBrontë #Weston #Snap
