Can we maybe acknowledge the fact that image descriptions are not only for the benefit of "visually impaired" persons?!?
This term particularly annoys us. Descriptive image information is also very "nice" for people with other "impairments" .. eg. #autism #adhd
cognitive dysfunctions etc. And thus, "Describe the image" should be the correct term, and nothing else. -
@gnulinux Natürlich könnte Mensch auch einfach weiterhin Pale Moon verwenden .. aber das ist ein anderes Thema (#accessibilityfirst und so).

When doing design reviews, include accessibility as one of the focus areas. Or better yet, conduct regular accessibility design reviews (at major iterations, for example).
Doing so means you’ll spend less time remediating accessibility bugs in quality assurance or production. A happy you and happy customers.
