Um A Better Route Planner / ABRP geht echt immernoch kein Weg drumherum, wenn man alle Features möchte.
Ist halt auch angenehm da alle Daten vom Fahrzeug mit anzuknüpfen und die Plannung live bei der Fahrt angepasst zu bekommen.
Bonuspunkt auch: Das Teil verkauft einem nicht noch eine Ladekarte oder sowas, sondern zeigt halt Ladepunkte, Zustand, Verbrauch, Wetter, etc. auch Abhängig vom tatsähclichen Verbrauch über den CAN-Bus gelesen an.
Sowas fehlt mir aus Europa wirklich noch.
Da will ich echt mal was zum DiD / DuD haben, das nicht auch voll auf Google setzt, wenn es um den Bezahlweg und die Routenplanung geht.

@Sektorenkoppler #ABRP ist von #Rivian übernommen worden. Von daher kann es für den #VW Konzern Hoffnung geben. Also in X Jahren.

➡️ Die #Enyaq Routenplanung ist gut, hat aber einen für mich krassen Haken.
➡️ So konnte ich nicht explizit nach #EnBW Ladesäulen filtern und musste auf die #ABRP App und Google maps ausweichen. Hier herrscht dringend nachholbedarf.
➡️ beeindruckt hat mich die peak Ladeleistung von über 142 kW, obwohl der enyaq nur 135 können sollte.
➡️ Die Außentemperatur lag bei 30 Grad und der Akku wurde auf 42 erwärmt.
➡️ die Ladepausen waren nicht störend & wegen der Kinder sowieso notwendig

@MarcusSchwemer Ich bin mit ABRP viel in Europa unterwegs gewesen, u.a. zum Nordkapp und Island. ABRP hat die beste Filtermöglichkeit für Ladestations-Betreiber, die Navigation ist aber manchmal etwas ungewöhnlich.
Lohnt sich aber nur mit Live-Daten (Akku-Stand, Verbrauch) per OBDII-Dongle oder ggf. per AndroidAuto (kann nicht jedes Auto).
Die Vorab-Planung ist oft nicht so gut, aber die Live-Abschätzung (Akku-Stand bei Ankunft etc.) ist super.

Bei den aktuellen #Skoda-Modellen (AFAIK auch bei anderen Marken des #VW-Konzerns) ist das mit der #Ladeplanung auch so. Außer #Ionity und #Powerpass lässt sich nichts direkt als Filter auswählen. Ein weiterer Grund, das Abo für die App etc nach dem Auslaufen nicht weiter zu nehmen und lieber in #ABRP zu investieren. -
Das sind gute 2 Stunden Differenz und geladen hab ich auf der Strecke 3x (2x zwischen zwei Städten, 1x an einem Abholort) und das mit 2x 30 Minuten und 1x 20 Minuten.
Würde ich jetzt #ABRP nutzen für die Planung, würde es auch 10:50 h sein (3/6)

Jup, alles heute.
Einmal hin und zurück.
Beim Laden auch immer mehr Geladen, als laut ABRP nötig gewesen wäre, weil der Kaffee noch nicht leer war, die Strecke noch nicht zu Ende gelaufen oder sowas.
Tempomat auf 115 km/h (110 km/h real) und los.
Schneller fahren hätte sogar länger gedauert, weil die Verbräuche dann halt ansteigen.
Geladen für 61,87 €.
Gefahren: 652 km.
0,095 € / km.
Was ich seltsam fand ist, dass Ad-Hoc an den Schnelladesäulen in Musnter laden wohl nur 0,47 € / kWh sind, aber ABRP trotzdem zu den EnBW-Säulen für 0,56 € / kWh geroutet hat.
Ist dann eben doch der Nachteil, wenn man das der Maschien überlässt.
Dafür sind Wind, Wetter, Staus, Baustellen, aktueller Ladestand vom AUot und co. immer live mitberechnet und neue Routen vorgeschlagen, wenn sich was ergibt.

The „-e“ has a 50kWh battery, the electric 54.
According to ABRP the „-e“ has an LFP-based battery, and the electric is NMC.
However, on ev-database both models are specified as NMC622.
Where did ABRP get this data from? -

Warum schaff ich es eigentlich nicht der Routenplanung beim fahren zu vertrauen? Jedes mal denke ich "Weiß ich aber besser" Und jedes mal geht es in die Hose. Stau oder Ladestation außer Betrieb... 🙄

Navigace pro elektroauto má svá specifika. Kromě obvyklých parametrů totiž musí do plánování trasy zahrnout také zastávky pro nabíjení. Obvykle se o to stará palubní navigace, která má také přístup k datům z auta, ale zrovna naše auto ji nemá a já obecně s navigacemi dodávanými přímo automobilkou nebyl nikdy moc spokojený. Proto jsem se rozhodl vyzkoušet, jak si populární navigace pro mobil dokážou s elektroautem poradit.

@CptCheesyCrust Seitdem ich nichtmehr am SuC lade, sehe ich, wie gut und genau #ABRP ist im Vergleich zum Tesla Navi. Von da aus einfach die Zwischenstopps an den Tesla schicken, Batterietemperierung funktioniert ja auch für alle anderen CCS Lader.

@CptCheesyCrust Seitdem ich nichtmehr am SuC lade, sehe ich, wie gut und genau #ABRP ist im Vergleich zum Tesla Navi. Von da aus einfach die Zwischenstopps an den Tesla schicken, Batterietemperierung funktioniert ja auch für alle anderen CCS Lader.

Is it a bug that if ABRP is linked to Enode for live car status updates and enode goes to “sleep” for an hour ABRP happily drives along thinking your battery is at 78% in perpetuity?
The closest charger was 15 miles away and I had 9, supposedly. Drove 30mph the whole way and made it. 😅

@jspath55 There's also #ABRP A Better Route Planer app to help with the planning - the free version is generally enough, the premium adds in-car navigation support. They are mostly based on OSM data, I think, with charging network APIs overlaid/added. If you put in the charging accounts you have, ABRP can tell you prices ahead of time, suggest the best card to use and use that information for route planning too. (They're owned by Rivian now)

I'm torn. #Sygic is a great navigation app with reliable traffic info, but its #EV mode is useless (it doesn't even show the availability of charging points). #ABRP is a great planner for EVs. It can even get live data about remaining battery etc from the car via Carplay/Android Auto or OBD, and can almost completely replace the in-car navigation that is usually part of an expensive subscription. But as navigation, it sucks. I'm not even sure it has traffic information for our region.

#ABRP 6.0 came out and it finally brings a magical feature: support from #AndroidAuto CarInfo API. All the cars that support it will automatically get live battery data in ABRP, just by running it as the navigation app through Android Auto. It's quite amazing, it's a shame though my #EV6 does not support this :neocat_sad:
So does anyone have an #EV supporting this, can give it a go and share impressions?

Back home, having succesfully used #Abetterrouteplanner to get me there and back. On #grapheneos with speech output. So it works, yay.
Now I just need to find out why it is so damn quiet when speaking. I mean, I have music running and it is perfect understandable. Then #abrp says something - this reduces the volume of the music considerably (good) and then talks. While inside a city and as such slow moving, I can hear it. Not good, but good enough.
Outside, with car going > 80 km/h, its so quiet, that one can't understand anything.No, it does not help to crank up the volume. That will either blast the music annoyingly loud - or, if I do it manually for each notification, before that is effective the notification is finished...
Settings in app are set to loudest. Meh.
Other (routing) apps do not have this problem, and yes, the central speech output settings do say "Increase volume".

Well, I just looked again, and it no longer complains about a missing TTS engine on start - and the settings for Voice allow me to test a voice - and I actually get output.
That's of course not yet verified while driving, but I do happen to have a long trip tomorrow (which is why I looked at abrp again), so I will try it in car then. I'm hopeful (why should test work and actual routing not?).
That's better (and always has, it could run, just not output speech!) than the #Stellantis e-Routes thing - that one just does not start on #grapheneos at all. Hangs indefinitely no matter how I change the graphene settings around security. The log doesn't help *me* much, though it seems to hate on not being able to talk to crashlytics and missing on com.google.android.gms. Doesn't seem to like sandboxed google play, or whatever.
