i486 DX2-66.
Le principe était simple : garder le bus à 33 MHz et faire tourner le cœur du CPU à 66 MHz.
Une horloge pour la carte mère, deux battements pour le CPU.
1,2 million de transistors, 8 Ko de cache L1, FPU intégré et suffisamment de puissance pour transformer le PC beigeasse en machine à Doom.
Et avec ce dissipateur bleu, Intel avait presque inventé le RGB avant le RGB.

Been working on the #486DX2 some more this evening - I think I've got most of the bugs ironed out now.
It's a VLB system with an Intel 486DX2-66 CPU on a Pine Technology PT-430 motherboard, with 16MB 72pin RAM. Graphics card is an S3 805 2MB VLB, and behind it is a Tekram DC-880 cached SCSI card with 4MB of 30pin SIMMs.
