- Combat: hit-stop, screen shake, white flash, i-frames, combo slow-mo
- Movement overhaul: camera lookahead, landing VFX, edge correction
- Quick restart: die and you're back in action in under a second

Google DeepMinds Genie is able to generate simple 2D platform games out of only one image or picture.
The interesting part is, that the network was trained only be videos of several platformer games but not with any input/controller information. Without those annotations DeepMind can use a lot more training data.

It was designed to be a dexterity challenge, where you control both wolves one with each hand, while lava rises. You gotta get them to meet and howl together.
