An update on this: the manager of #BabylonBerlin, Timothy Grossmann, wants to frame it as "come and discuss" which is so disingenuous. Religious zealots aren't interested in "discussing sex work", they're only interested in trying to eradicate it.
Sounds like there's going to be a counter protest as #b1606 has started being used as a hashtag. Hopefully a decent crowd can turn out in #Berlin to stand against the screening of this film.

@EU_Commission so what's being done to curb transphobic discourse in government legislations & discussion? Why are we giving hatred of a group of people such standing in our system? Why do we discard decades of research for pseudoscience?
Hatred & Bigotry, especially around transgender women, is spreading across the EU, with perhaps the exception of Spain, but even there it took a legal challenge to get an X gender marker recognised.

Looked into proposing a talk at #nodeconfeu this year (same proposal that was accepted as last year, after I had to pull out for medical reasons), but if I'm honest, I really don't feel confident in being able to put together a talk in time.

SDK developers, how are you handling ESM + CJS? We're starting to see dependencies switch to ESM only, but because we support #CJS, we're unable to upgrade as #ESM can't be imported by CJS
Is the answer just to drop our transpiling to CJS/UMD and go ESM only? That feels like it should be the answer & would technically be a semver-major change.
Is there a better solution?

If you're wondering what I contributed to #mastodon, it's a lot of the #moderation tooling to help make moderation more manageable (I did this whilst a mod for #switter in 2018).
In my spare time I've been working on their streaming server, because I've a lot of experience with #websockets.
I'm currently working on many other contributions too!

Would it be fair to say that OnlyFans is the PornHub of it's era?
They're the largest company that exists, they've a significantly more sustainable business model (but with its own flaws), everyone wants to capitalise on the market from small teams to legacies like Kink.com, and they're also under attack from religious extremists in the same way.

Does anyone know if there's like "tape dispensers" that one can by for these #medical tapes?
I'm still having to regularly tape my nose at night following #septoplasty & #rhinoplasty, and manually cutting the tapes is annoying
