Almost 1/3 of government's annual social housing target is up in smoke. It's for the simple reason that we originally said it would fail - private profit.
We need a State Construction Company that would cut out this profiteering and actual build and retrofit homes like we need!

We know why the government won't pass legislation to take 'excess usage' charges off the table, AND why they won't run the promised referendum on enshrining public ownership of our water...
The government think opposition to water charges will go away! It won't. They will continue to face mass opposition when they try to bring it in again! -
It's an incredible decision to cut SNA hours in Firhouse Educate Together NS, while they are already struggling.
Early intervention and the appropriate supports are essential for children to have equality in education.

The government chose to bring a 'motion of confidence' in Simon Harris to avoid scrutiny in the week of the presidential election.
FF, FG, the Lowry Independents, Healy-Raes, and Independent Ireland all voted 'confidence' in Simon Harris.Years on from Simon Harris' promise, children are still waiting much longer for spinal surgery, while the stream of scandals coming out of CHI continues.
Will we ever know the truth?

This is what we have been saying the last couple years:
Why weren't these permanent measures? It's incredible how they have the gall to cut 'once-off' payments now the general election is over. Prices have continued to go up since last year, not down.
The cost of living crisis has gotten worse.
They represent those who profit of the crises that ordinary people face.Don't forget the actions of this cruel government at the next election.

Government starving the tenant-in-situ scheme is going to cause a wave of homelessness.
This was only originally brought in when they were under serious pressure on the streets.
We need a mass movement against this landlord government.
Many people wont survive another 4 years of them.

We need a government that puts renters before landlords, a government committed to ending homelessness, ensuring a quality roof over everyone’s head and giving young people hope again.
We build that by organising a mass movement on housing. Yesterday was just the beginning.
