Today's beautifully misty, frost tinged commute to work was a solid reminder of how that can be almost ruined by the noise of cars driving along side even a segregated path.
I long to be back on the beautiful (mostly) car free routes of the #IsleOfWight.
It's still #BetterByBicycle though.

Beautiful ride through the fens today. Everything covered with crystalized water (frost), just incredibly beatiful in the low winter sun.
Animal interests were herons, Highland Cows (major irony on the lowland fens), and the Konik ponies.
Too cold to stop and take pictures though - I think my right foot actually froze.

Lovely, cold, but beautiful sunrise ride into work this morning. The highlight was the frost getting picked up by my tires and sparkling in the low sun.

Lovely bike ride today. it's been grey skies but dry for a couple of weeks so mud levels were low and the crunchy golden leaf factor was high. Glorious, but with the minor terror of what pothole lies beneath.

The headwind was so strong this morning I briefly considered putting aero bars on my cargo bike.
I turned it to turbo mode instead. 12 miles without breaking a (significant) sweat.

Forced to get a taxi to the station today (nowhere safe to leave my bike for a few days)
Of course the traffic is appalling because the schools are back. So the taxi took longer than it would take me to cycle.
And people do this regularly!

Rode my @ternbicycles GSD to the local ScrewFix earlier today. Lots of headwind but that's no match for the electric assist - 15mph all the way.
On the way out of the shop I was approached by a guy who was super interested in the bike and it's capabilities. Great to see other folk get enthused by the potential.Coming up to 1600miles since April and getting on the bike still makes me smile every time.
