The town of #Cowes on the north side of the #IsleOfWight functions as the main #port for passengers from the #Mainland. It is bisected by the mouth of the #RiverMedina, which forms a cleft in the #Island. To cross from one side to the other, instead of the #bridge, the town has a small #Ferry guided by chains, which works all day and late into the evening to transfer pedestrians and road users from one side to the other.

Guess who knocked the front standard again! Getting the hang, and using a wide angle presents itself with some headaches with the smaller bag bellows.

Trying to correct for the distortion of the wide angle lens, parallels in the verticals and fiddle with the depth of field ‘in-camera’ by moving, rotating and tilting the lens and film plane is a challenge and was so, so close! I need to watch removing the old timey focussing cloth on my head 🥴

Fairly happy otherwise and need to work out why the negs are getting scratched, I suspect it’s the film holder loading process. Second pic is the camera at work, third is a night time test in #norwich, #Norfolk.
