1) Police screwed up: not a crash of two trains! one long freight train derailed
2) "Pearl Parkway was closed near 48th and Arapahoe"
WTH. east-west Pearl Parkway is north of the railroad tracks, 48th and Arapahoe is on the south side. Maybe BPD PIO unfamiliar w/Boulder?
BTW, there are a few good TV news YouTube videos (and a few good clips on dead bird site)

#QuarryFire update: A spokesman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said firefighters are keeping flames out of neighborhoods, but that the fire is encroaching on homes.
