Unpopular opinion (maybe?) -- stuff made out of polyester and other plastics should not be called #Fleece! The fluffy stuff shaved off of woolly animals is FLEECE!

I'm thinking of making a spiral sweater out of Orca's baby #fleece. ๐ค Not quite sure what pattern the different color yarns should go in. There would be a little white, lots of grays, and some black as I want to keep them separate and not blend them together.

Working on #HandSpinning my first black #yarn. The #wool is from Warbler's #fleece and the tips are bleached, so I'm removing the tips. It's not going to be the blackest black, but it'll be black enough. 100% #GulfCoast. #FiberArts

I skirted Orca's #fleece and I think this would be a really fun one to spin because of all the different shades. It is also shocking how SOFT it is! It's like petting an angora rabbit or a chinchilla or something.

Here is Hawk's #fleece. ๐ This is my favorite fleece! It's EPIC! ๐ฅฐ It is like a lion's ๐ฆ mane.
It's a huge fleece, very curly and crimpy, with a long staple, and next-to-skin soft. I just drool everytime I shear Hawk. I think his #wool is MARVELOUS. I could keep taking more and more pics of it; I'm literally obsessed. ๐
We are done #shearing, but I have three more fleeces to skirt. To be continued...
