So I'm back from sailing and today is PGSQL Phriday (weird spelling I know) and the topic for today's community Postgres blogging event is "Partitioning vs. Sharding", a topic that is right up my alley!
So here is my blog contribution on Understanding Partitioning and Sharding in Postgres, featuring the Citus database extension in the sharding section of course!

I haven’t posted in a while and this is why: Sailing in Greece, luckily far away from the devastating fires which raged in other islands. Now I’m back in the saddle and working on my #PGSQLPHriday post about Partitioning vs Sharding in #PostgreSQL.

Hot off the press, new first-ever blog post from Ozan Saka, an engineer on the Citus database team, about:
* How we made Postgres 15 support generally available in Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL within just 1 week of the PG15 release!
One of the many benefits of Citus being an extension to PostgreSQL is that it's easier to keep it current with the latest Postgres releases!
