Yesterday morning started to bicycle the Root River Trail but my front shifter stopped working. Went back to the bicycle repair stand near Rushford Depot to work on it. Cable was working but wasn't shifting. Found out the cable and housing were broken, but not severed. Time for a full tune up, anyway.

A5. Settled on the "Glympse" application program so my spouse can keep track of me. Uses up too much power when the signal is lost, though.

A4. I think 2 or 3 is an either/or situation. All terrain prevents smooth rolling. Smooth rolling lacks grip in challenging terrain.
For 1, I've been very happy with my Schwalbe Marathon bicycle tires on my touring bicycle.

A2. I've used a "pool noodle" attached to my rear rack with a bungee cord before. I wrapped reflective tape around one end. Worked pretty well for a while.

Out bicycling, some kids saw me stopped and demanded (not asked) that I do a card trick. I was very confused when they got mad when I wouldn't and bicycled away.
So, a long time ago, a professional magician and I had similar facial features, glasses and hairstyles that people would confuse us with each other. Took us both a while to figure it out.
Found out much later he was the ex of a woman I was dating around that time.

Rushford Village now has their port-a-potty set up by the trail.
The Rushford Depot was open for water and bathrooms this past Sunday from 10- 3.
