This post — and also @Vaguery mentioning that some spicy, salty snacks he recommended (which we hopped on and binge ordered) were even yummy & spicier when consumed with an alcoholic beverage — are reminding me of a fond #Detroit #TacoTruck memory. In downtown Detroit, when working on mobile app development at Detroit Labs (wonderful group of people, and chock full of my IRL friends), we would walk to El Guappo Grill which had some amazing tacos, especially the chorizo.One summer, they were serving chilled #lemonade that had had #jalapenos steeping in it for long enough to infuse the drink. It was SOOOO good. I didn't care about the invevitable acid reflux flareup it would induce in me. I loved the taste. Fresh, bright, slightly vegetal taste, and of course the citrus. Wasn't too sweet, either. Just right.
You don't get CORE MEMORY formation (ala INSIDE OUT) as often as an adult, or at least I didn't. This is one of my core memories from around the time I turned 40. Adults still got it 💡

@skinnylatte Yikes, I liked having the vegetarian food there many times with friends. Never saw them push that cult stuff on the customer though.
